There is a new figure company out there - TC2F (Toranoana & Creators Collaboration Figure) and as you can guess from their name they’ll be working with 2d artists to make their drawings come alive. First up is Tony Taka with a scantily dressed meido girl. Though I have to admit the figure doesn’t look quite right compared to the illustration - something’s weird about the face and hair. I’d buy the sculpt of Kureha over this bikini maid.

A little while ago Raezr helped me identify an image by Okama (artist site) Since then I’ve been learning more about this artist - and discovering all the things by him I’ve enjoyed without even realizing he was involved.  His renditions of Rei and Asuka are just too cute. I’ve put up a selection of his original works to enjoy below.

Tony Taka is a well known artist for his own illustrative style, and for doing art for visual novel games (eroge included).  Kureha is a character from Shining Wind - I don’t own, but really like this figure of her.

Lucy Maria Misora, AKA Ruuko Kirei na Sora, is a character from the game/anime/sim To Heart 2. I bought a figure of her without a clue of who she was. After stumbling across various images of her she became one of my favorite character designs.
