Another cute drawing from bfs ok farm. The girl’s expression seems to be of surprise that the cat is gonna be joining her for the ride - goggles and all!  Lovely pastel tones, cute chunky scooter & helmet , nice touches such as the emblem on her arm.

Panty shot! By Kantoku of the “Afterschool of the 5th Year” doujin circle.  I’m not too familiar with Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, but from what I’ve seen / read, I don’t think I’d really be into it. Not quite my style of magical girls >.>

Another one for the train enthusiasts - and perhaps those who like kitty cats. This image is how I might imagine rural Japan to look like -  abandoned technology, stray cats, girls in seifuku.  Semi-related: This reminds me of the rural, abandoned spaces visualized in the beautiful movie The Place Promised in our Early Years, by Makoto Shinaki - who also single-handedly created Voices of a Distant Star. 

Another doujin work by Nijiiro Zakura - two girls playing at the beach in swimsuits.  Finding nice images of girls havin summer-time fun in the water was surprisingly difficult… or maybe I’m just too picky.  I guess eliminating any eroge / nsfw content to keep the blog clean does make selection a lot tougher!  I think this image is cute, sexy and fun without the fan service. Bit o’ boob, bit o’ loli, bit o’ ass - Who can complain! ^.^

Doujinshi by bf’s ok farm. This is a cute piece of a train operator / conductor in the driver’s cabin. The muted colors and nice shading fit so well with the mellow attitude of the girl. This is probably quite a popular image for train otaku (train fanatics seems to be growing in number in Japan lately). 

This doujin work by Takamichi brings to mind summer days in a small seaside town in Japan. It feels fresh and youthful and nostalgic. Seems like Takamichi’s other works evoke a similar mood.

Doujin work can be hard to identify - I only just learned of this artist - Uni. Turns out I had already posted two others works by them - Assassin’s Creed Yuki and Code Geass girls. The characters are drawn really well, with nice backgrounds that don’t distract yet complement, and pleasant colors that aren’t overly crazy. Or maybe it’s just that I’m a sucker for short-haired girls in gothloli outfits with big axes >.>
