Boota is hangin out in Yoko’s cleavage, challenging a scary mecha. Yoko seems somewhat surprised with this turn of events. I’m sure she’ll be able to kick the robot’s ass regardless. I want to know what the sound effect of Boota popping out between her boobies would be….

Ok, so the idea of this pair hanging out at the beach together in bikinis is totally unrealistic in the context of Neon Genesis Evangelion, but it makes for nice eyecandy! I wonder if Rei’s NERV bikini has ever been a piece of NGE merchandise on the market? This looks like official art by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

Gode Geass dude (Lelouch Lamperouge I think) is holding out his hand, beckoning you to watch this anime.  But I refuse!  Though this pic may paint a visually appealing portrait of Kallen Stadtfeld, Kouzuki Karen, Sururugi Suzaku & Lelouch Lamperouge, I didn’t enjoy what I did see of this show. Still, girl on the left is smokin!

Here are the Lucky Star usual suspects in their cheerleader outfits, equipped with gold pom poms. I was just searching the web trying to figure out if there were any anime from the Spring / Summer seasons to watch, and the lack of anything really interesting made me want to go back and watch this show again >.<  

I did find a few shows that I will check out: Nodame Cantabile, Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto - Natsu no Sora (Things That Are Important to a Mage - Summer Sky) and maybe Yakushiji Ryoko No Kaiki Jikenbo (Ryoko’s Case Files)

It’s Labor Day today here in America. It is also Moe Mondays on Moggling. So to honor both, it is only appropriate to present to you some moe maids, giving their 100% for their master. Here we see distressed maids Sawatari Izumi and Sawatari Mitsuki from the He is my Master defending themselves against Pochi the alligator. This manga turned anime is total fanservice featuring the classic ‘adolescent rich kid with a harem of buxom maids.’

First three episodes of Gurren Lagann - awesome! I knew that at episode 4 I would have to grit my teeth and make it through some crappy art. I tried to imagine I was watching some special episode by some funky director (kinda the truth). I made it through - barely. Then episode 5 looked the same. And 6 and 7 looked almost as bad. I began to lose hope. I stopped watching. It’s a sad situation when this kind of stuff happens. So instead I’ll look at some pretty GL images instead, like this one with the 3 main characters dressed up to go to a cocktail party or something. This is Gurren style, done slightly differently - but done well. *sigh* So, Gurren Lagann fans - at which episode does the art get back to normal?

Chii is adorable. No two ways about it. I think you could imagine her in any situation and she’d still look cute as a button. When will real technology for persocons become available!? I want one 0.o Though I supposed I’d settle for a Honda Asimo or other supercool Japanese robot. There certainly isn’t a shortage of robots coming from Japan!

While I was in Japan I saw lots of promo going on for the Spring ‘08 anime Soul Eater. I wasn’t able to find an english fansub, but decided to check out a raw. Verdict - the character designs are fun and simple and seem intended for a younger audience, but don’t cross that fine line into crude/childish design. The animation is well rendered - the action scenes looks really tasty.  This series looks to have a lot of flair and funkiness - can’t wait for the english subs to be put out there.  The true test will be the story and how it shapes up after a few episodes.

If the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi was set in the old West, Haruhi would probably be the mistress of a bordello that connects a gang of rebel cowboys, Yuki would be the quiet stunner that does sneaks around and finds out the dirt on people, and Mikuru - well Mikuru would probably work for Haruhi in the bordello >.< But this pic puts the Haruhi girls in more of the standard Western get-up, with hats n guns n spurs - which is also an excellent interpretation of Haruhi Western Django.

In this anime adaptation of a manga by Kaworu Watashiya - a nine year old, Rin Kokonoe, has crush on her 23 year old teacher, Daisuke Aoki. I’m sure this leads to all sorts of loli fanservice and fun.  Sports day looks exciting - she seems intent to get a bite of the *ahem* bread.
