One of my favorite parts about The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi was how Haruhi would always dress up Mikuru against her will. Her we see her in a frog costume, holding a lemon.

Although the original Mecha Musume WWII characters were cool, I just couldn’t get into Sky Girls as it was too loli fanservice for my tastes. However, I still think Mecha Musume done right is rad - take for example this pic

Hatsune Miku is undoubtedly an unbeat, peppy character. Her overexposure gets a little irritating, so alternative, less happy pics of her are always a treat. Here she looks like she just got done singing and instead of applause there was *crickets*.

Both seasons of Rosario + Vampire seem to be pretty popular right now (though I’ll admit I haven’t watched either) So why not some R+V fanservice? Ooops, looks like she got that vanilla ice-cream all over her face. Oh dear, better lick it off. Unfortunately this image doesn’t showcase any girls with cute fangs, so expect a pointy-tooth anime girl post soon!

Digging the colors, textures and art style of this Okami wallpaper. Perfect for a dual monitor 1920×1200 setup. I never had the chance to play the game, but I heard from friends that it was pretty awesome

I couldn’t get into the Full Metal Panic! / Fumoffu franchise. Something about it just didn’t float my boat, even though I’m a sucker for random zaniness. But regardless, Bontakun kicks butt.

Tatsuyuki Tanaka is an artist who has worked on quite a few high profile anime (Batman Gotham Knight, Akira.) This image is from his artbook Cannabis Works, which is full of dystopian sci-fi scenes, organic looking robots, and streetwise characters. Good stuff.
