It’s easy to make “moe” into a stereotype. So I have to keep reminding myself that moe can be more. So here is Yurie Hitotsubashi from Kamichu, taking a nap under a tree. When  I first heard about Strike Witches I was excited because I really liked the Mecha Musume figures that were in a similar style. Part loli, part mecha - there’s all sorts of ‘action’ implied with that. And from what I hear of the show, it doesn’t fail to provide all sorts of action in the form of mid air pantsu fights. No panties in this pic though since I try to keep stuff as safe for work as possible, but you’ve already seen plenty of that in the show itself

I’ve seen way more episodes of Inuyasha than I care to admit. I’ll even admit they were the english dubbed versions! All I remember from the show is the prolific weird demon naming such as “Seshomeru” and incessant cries of “Kagome!” “Inuyasha!”  ”Kagome!” “Inuyasha!”  ”Kagomeeeeeeeeee!” Yeah.

I don’t mind images of the show though, since I’m a fan of Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura. Kagome’s bicycle is quite cute!

Artist Ukke has a very similar character style to Okama (one of my fave artists) I get a kick out of this burger joint waitress with a burger hand-puppet. Eeeeeee!

Ok, so the idea of this pair hanging out at the beach together in bikinis is totally unrealistic in the context of Neon Genesis Evangelion, but it makes for nice eyecandy! I wonder if Rei’s NERV bikini has ever been a piece of NGE merchandise on the market? This looks like official art by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

Just started watching this show again, and am enjoying it immensely. It’s full of dark humor, awesome graphical style, and great editing. Oh, and the characters are totally superb in their own intentionally stereotypical but unique way. And the fanservice is so subtle that it’s a total tease! Oh puhleeeeze let me see those pantsu! ^.^
