This plate and mail wearing warrior looks like she could take on big monsters - though I think there are just a few small gaps in her armor! But hey, a girl’s gotta sacrifice function over form, right?

It’s a well-known law of fantasy writing that the less armour someone wears, the more he or (more frequently) she is likely to survive.
Very good point- heck, Conan is a great example of this!
