Ghost in the Shell, Motoko Kusanagi, Tachikoma, Batou

Anyone who isn’t familiar with the GIST franchise should probably get their head out of the sand. Most well-known of the works of Masamune Shirow is probably the original Ghost in the Shell movie which follows the story of section-9, lead by Major Kusanagi, in a cyberpunk epic that asks ‘what does it mean to be human?’  I love the design of the Tachikoma fighting robots.  I mean, come on, they’re metallic blue, talk with childlike voices, but have guns and kick ass.

Yey, that’s a much better version of that image than the one I saved down long ago, thx x3

Also, I prefer SAC(+SSS) before the two movies, they are little too deep & weird for me, and Motoko doesn’t look as cool, not to mention they don’t have any Tachikoma D: That’s a huge loss right there!
