New Moggling Format
Moggling was originally conceived as a photo(image)blog that I could update very quickly and easily. Quickly and easily haven’t really turned out to be that way >.< And to top it off, there has been some sentiment that a photoblog isn’t worthy of being called a blog. To that I say, in the wise words of Bill the Cat, “thhpppppppppbbbt”. But from here-on-in images will be annotated with informational and editorial text, when possible. This means less posts since it has increased posting time considerably >.< We’ll see how this works, and if the blog will get accepted into blog directories. >.> (Image Source Unknown)
Minami-ke - Minami Haruka, Hot Cocoa on a Bench
Edit: Show is Minami-ke, character is Minami Haruka. Thanks to Chris for the ID. I watched the first ep for this show and was really put off by the design of the characters’ mouthes, which look like they all have cleft lips >.< Also, the ‘hair-horn’ of one character is just weird.
Yotsuba!& - Net & Neko
Yotsuba&! is the manga series by Kiyohiko Azuma (creator of Azumanga Daioh) It follows the daily adventures of a little girl who is learning about life. Yotsuba&! is the first manga that I’ve actually been able to get into - the characters are adorable, the stories are hilarious, and the art of easy to follow. Not to mention this manga created the infamous Cardbo character. I recommend the Yotsuba and Cardbo posable Revoltech figures.
Friday Fanservice - Nijiiro Zakura Pantsu
Nijiiro Zakura is a doujinshi artist who is probably most well-known for the character design of the mascot for the DS game Rio Blackjack
Chocho Police - Cat Girls
Chocho / Cyocyo Police (Takara Shinnosuke) has a really distinctive style of drawing that sticks out in technique and character design. The pissed off gothy girls are quite fun.
Honey and Clover - Hagu and Yamada
Honey and Clover (Hachimitsu to Kurōbā), created by Chika Umino as a manga originally, and adapted into two anime seasons, a live action movie, and a j-drama series. Pictured are Hagumi Hanamoto (Haguchan) and Ayumi Yamada.
